Pamela Galera is the Director of Community Services in the City of Riverside. With 30 years of experience, Pamela has created connections between communities and nature. Pamela is a licensed Landscape Architect with an undergraduate degree from Cal Poly Pomona and a master’s in public administration from Cal State Fullerton. As Anaheim’s Parks Manager, Pamela spearheaded the OC Riverwalk that will dam the Santa Ana River to create recreational and ground water recharging lakes. Pamela is now working on ‘putting the river back in riverside’ by creating an environmentally and fiscally sustainable public realm on the Santa Ana River.
