Amanda Cavallo is an Architectural Designer, LEED BD+C accredited professional, Artist, and Sustainability Activist in Santa Monica, California. She is deeply passionate about reconnecting our built environment with the natural environment in order to improve our health, sustainability, quality of life, and social justice. She believes that we each have a responsibility to educate ourselves and make more mindful choices every day, and each accumulating small action is what will lead to the big changes and paradigm shift we need. Currently pursuing a zero-waste and regenerative lifestyle, Amanda hopes to educate and encourage others to do the same.

Amanda became a USGBC-LA member in the summer of 2022, and has been an active participant in the Legacy Committee, Wildfire Defense Committee, and Green Homes Committee. Joining this community of genuine and motivated individuals has been truly rewarding and empowering, and I’m thrilled to be a part of these impactful projects. She has experience in residential design, commercial interiors, lighting design, project management, general contracting, natural building, and experiment in many different artistic mediums using upcycled materials – she's determined to put these skills to meaningful use by supporting projects that are part of the solution.
