In this session, sustainable building experts from the AEC sector will highlight how firms – large and small – can ramp up low-carbon innovation efforts for their projects in light of industry, policy and building owner interest and prioritization. They will speak to the challenges companies often face when adopting decarbonization practices, including the reality that regulations are constantly changing.  

The panelists – Patrick Chopson from cove.tool, Eric Corey Freed of CannonDesign and Justin Glover of STUDIOS – will highlight the benefits of thinking about sustainability and energy goals earlier in the design process and how this drives cost and carbon savings. In addition, they will highlight the power of goal setting and ongoing benchmarking in making continuous performance improvements.
