Many stakeholders in the building industry have defined metrics related to reducing greenhouse gas emissions yet lack awareness about the technologies available to help them achieve these objectives. In this discussion I focus on the available HVAC solutions in this space and categorize them using four pillars of achieving GHG reduction for the building sector: energy efficiency, electrification, refrigerant management, and renewable energy.
